Life in the ‘Burbs

Posted on: December 26, 2009

I love our town. I mean, I really do love our town!

We used to live right in the city which was great for a young couple. The fast pace of things, the amazing restaurants, the ease of getting around the city, the shopping.  It was awesome! But then Isabella was born and life changed for us. We no longer enjoyed the busy, hectic, pollution filled streets as we used to and we knew we needed to find a new place to call our home and raise our little girl. And so we moved to the suburbs just outside of the city and its perfect. We live in a quiet neighborhood with kind neighbors, fresh air, and a big backyard. Our house is very modest (AKA small), but its ours and we love it. I am a suburban mommy and I truly love it.

We are very blessed and fortunate for our new baby (okay so she’s 2, but she’s still my baby), our home, and our lives together.  🙂

We have three kids and we have lived in New York City their entire life. As someone who grew up in the suburbs I am thrilled that my kids are growing up in the vibrant and stimulating atmosphere of the city.

Oooh, I bet NYC is beautiful this time of year. And I am sure living in there is a fabulous experience for your children and will teach them a lot about the world. We live just outside of the city now so we feel like we have the best of both worlds for our daughter.

Happy holidays to you and your family! 🙂
