Growing up my mom baked. A lot. It was what she did and I loved it. The delicious aromas of brownies, cookies, cakes, breads, etc. always filled my house. It was a familiar and comforting smell. No matter what was going on in our not-so perfect home, this smell was perfect. To this day when I catch a whiff of homemade baked goods, it takes me back in time…
So just the other day I was having a crappy day so of course that meant I was going to bake. It makes me feel better and is much cheaper than retail therapy! And you know what made me feel even better then the baking alone? Baking with my little helper!
Isabella absolutely loves to bake and thinks she’s so cool (which for the record she is, of course!). And she’s actually pretty good at it — she stirs those brownies like you can’t believe, getting out every single lump.
And of course we all know that every good baker must first try their creation before sharing it w/ others. It’s very important to make sure it’s up to all of the standards!
Oh yes, she’s definitely a Mini Minnie Mama — she hates to be dirty!
