To say that I am routine with my daily life would be an understatement. Some even say I take it to a whole new level and flirt w/ being OCD. I don’t think I am, but whatever — when I find something I like to do / eat then I stick w/ it, especially when it’s something I like to eat.
Wanna know my all time favorite food? Don’t laugh because this is serious business people! It’s Green Giant Simply Steam Green Beans and Almonds! Honest to God, it is – you can ask anyone who knows me! I literally eat at least one whole box of these a day, if not two. I’ve been known for emptying out my grocer’s freezer case to stock up on these awesome veggies and if I happen to have coupons then watch out because there’s no stopping me and I will knock you down for the last package. 🙂
These green beans are frozen, but once microwaved they’re instantly transformed into fresh, crisp, delicious green beans that somehow taste better than if I cooked freshly picked ones myself — no clue how Green Giant does it, but they do and I am totally hooked. And then on days that I food shop (like tonight — yay, can’t wait!) I pick up a fresh rotisserie chicken along w/ a loaf of hot, crispy, French bread and OMG I have the best dinner ever with those green beans & crunchy almond slivers. I literally look forward to that meal all week long — it’s better than anything I could have in a restaurant. Yes, it sounds weird, but I am telling you people it’s to die for!
Minnie Mama was recently contacted to do a review on Green Giant vegetables so that’s why I am posting about this product, but even if I wasn’t then sooner or later I would’ve professed my deep love for this brand because let’s be honest there’s only so much one can blog about so it would’ve been talked about sooner or later anyways, lol.
I received a ton of information to share w/ all of you about how adding Green Giant veggies to your daily diet can improve your health, but we’re just gonna skip all that. You’re adults and you know you should eat your veggies and I am guessing you also know how healthy they are. Heck, you might even know that Green Giant veggies are now endorsed by Weight Watchers so they include Points Plus Values on their boxes (still calculate the points on your own just to be safe!). But I won’t go on and on about all of that — I will just tell you they are absolutely freakin’ delicious and I couldn’t live w/o them. In fact, I am munching on them right now as I type — it’s lunchtime so it’s my green beans w/ almonds, a few sprays of my future cancer inducing fake butter spray, and left over BBQ chicken, yummy.
Oh and before I forget to tell you, I also received a prize pack consisting of a box of Green Giant broccoli w/ cheese (so good, but honestly can’t compare to my no guilt green beans!), a funky spoon and bowl, and an insulated shopping bag which is perfect for my Green Giant Veggie stock ups! And here’s the good news for you — one of Minnie Mama’s readers can receive this same prize pack too thanks to My Blog Spark and Green Giant. Yay!!
